BUT I LOVE HIM

Many people have allowed their feelings determine their lives and destiny and not what the bible says. A lady told me after I told her not to marry the man she was about to marry ‘but I love him’, then went ahead to marry and in just few months she came back to me apologizing for not taking the scriptural advice I gave her, now she wants to divorce and I said NO; you got to stay for better because as much terrible your marriage is, divorce is far worse.
God never say we marry who we love, the bible says we love who we married showing that love is not the reason we marry (Eph. 5:33). And that God says we love this or that means we can decide who to love and who to love more and most. It is those who are not mature in God that suddenly falls in love without having control but as we mature in God, we master the act of controlling who to love and not to love because we develop the fruit of self (emotion) controls, a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
If you are helplessly in love with the wrong person, you need urgent help. The wrong person is the person that besides your love feeling for him/her you can’t manage his/her kind of person. Never marry a person because you love the person, rather love the person that has same vision or going same direction with you in life, marry the person that compliments your efforts in life, marry the person that fits your person as well as you fits his/her person and love who you married, and love that person you married more and more.
If you are married and you love another spouse more than your spouse then you need urgent help.
God bless you.
