WHY WAIT? I can’t say why we have to wait; why women had to wait 9 months before giving birth, why trees take years before beginning to bear fruit etc. Why you have to be patient after having faith? But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  James 1:4 Patience has all to do with us; our development and perfection But it’s definitely not because God loves delaying. The bible tells us that God loves things done quickly that’s why His word is quick (Heb. 4:12) and He prefers finishing His work on time (Rom. 9:28) When patience is done with its work in you, God’s blessings with come and you’ll want nothing; you’ll experience the fullness of God’s supply and blessings. Hallelujah! If the devil is trying to make you lose patience or trying to suggest some quick means so that you don’t have to wait on God, its time to rebuke that voice because no one can make you rich and blessed as quick as God can and will if you’ll wait ...

PATIENCE IS THE EVIDENCE OF FAITH There was no saint of old who wasn’t patient with God; there was no man of faith who wasn’t a man of patience Patience is the ability to wait when you think God isn’t concerned about you, or God is late in responding to your situation. Sarah was past 90 years waiting on God for fruitfulness, Abraham was about 100, Moses was 80 years before God gave him breakthrough in his ministry, David had his own issues too etc. God has called us to learn from these people. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.  Heb. 6:12 You too may have faith that God will make it happen in your life, but do you have patience too? WE FIND VICTORY IN THEM Paul made mention of distress, persecutions, famine, nakedness, peril and sword and said, IN all the above mentioned, we are more than conquerors. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  Rom. 8:37 We become victorious not despite distresses, persecution, famine, perils and sword etc. but IN them. You don’t pick precious stones and gems on the surface of the earth, but deep inside the ocean where you’ll find lots of dangerous sea animals to first contend with. You’ll find victory right inside the heart of persecutions and perils and famine and distress etc. The Victory is delivered to us by Christ and no devils or curse or wicked man can hinder or delay Him. *FIRST FRUIT OFFERING* The reason Christians will enjoy all things is keyed in seeking first the kingdom of God. When we seek God first and the spreading of His message, every other things become added (Matt. 6:33) The reason we shall live about financial struggles this year is when we put God first especially in our finances. *Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.  Prov. 3:9-10* Giving your first fruit is the means of ensuring that your barns will be filled with plenty and your presses burst out with new wine. OUR HELPERS HAVE COME David cried for help on several occasions in the book of psalms and at a time he questioned ‘My Lord, my Lord, why have you forsaken me’. You too may have cried for help over and over again that you’ve begun to doubt the effectiveness of prayers and at a point in your life you’ve assumed that God has forsaken you, I have a message for you. THOSE IN DARKNESS Naphtali and Zebulun were rubbished by the Syrians and Asyrians and thus they couldn’t recover from those attacks. Isaiah 9:1-2 prophesied that these nations which had sat in darkness will see light and though they are at the point of diminishing unto death, that they’ll see a great light. The scripture talks about the great tribulation that’ll happen to the nations because heaven is now ready to receive her saints In a lesser way as individuals, before we shall experience God’s abundance, we’ll first experience famine Things first get worse before they get better but congratulation; God has shortened the days of evil occurrences in your life. It won’t get any worse from now, it will only get better. Jesus Christ had been preaching for 3 days and the multitudes’ were now wearied because of hunger. Peter has asked Philip to go check and see how much he could raise and his brother to go ask for donations; if these multitudes must keep listening to Christ having stayed 3days already, they must eat. Let’s go through the sequent of events and learn what these Apostles did to curb the problem before them LESSON 1: They gathered every money left in the ministry’s purse and that which they donated within themselves and only gathered (200 Penny) they asked for donations from the multitude but they were so unwilling to donate but for a boy who gave out his (5 barley loaves of bread and 2 fishes).
