THE SERPENT SHALL BITE

...whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. Ecclesiastes 10:8 Amon was killed by his servants because the bible records that....Amon incurred guilt more and more. 2 chronicle 33:23. When we incur more guilt we break our spiritual wall of defense or hedge and the more we harden our heart against an evil thing that we did, we destroy our hedge. You keep cheating, keep living in immorality, keep lying, keep stealing etc. and harden your heart against such vile and still expect to be free from demonic and physical attacks? If you are always under demonic and physical attacks from men and demons, then watch if you’ve broken the hedge. People blame wicked men/spirit as the cause of their predicament without trying to ask themselves if they are still protected (if their hedge is not broken); it is only when our hedge is broken that we can be bitten by the serpent (evil men/spirits). If you live under constant spiritual attacks, ask yourself if you’ve broken the he

HAVE YOU DANCE

One of my daily devotional activities is to dance. Every morning I play songs by J. Moss (afraid no more: this song really makes me dance) and I so dance (though not a good dancer, but I shake my body anyway and would appreciate a lesson from any of you). Dancing brightens you up for the day and creates rivers of laughter within. When you’ve received enough joy within you, you transfer it to your surroundings and your surroundings transfer back situations that would make you keep laughing to you. Your home, work place, and everywhere you go gets rubbed off of such joyful mood. Most evil and negative things that happen to us are avoidable if we have approached life with a joyful face and a happy and dancy mood. Let them praise his name in the dance...Ps 149:3 and praise him with...dance...Ps 150:4 Dancing is a means of worshiping God, if you don’t dance to the Lord everyday, you shall be missing out on several blessings. Prayers on it’s on doesn’t create a joyful situation,

HE WILL DO BETTER

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Ex 34:6 During my primary school days, I do fail in class and in the report card below it you’ll read ‘he will do better if he concentrates on his studies’. This hope in my teachers was the reason I wasn’t expelled from school for academic incompetence. Though some level of failure might lead to demotion but not expulsion but I was promoted on trial, in my last 2 years in school I rose up to be the best performing child representing and wining few trophies for my primary school. When you see my primary 1 to 4 results you’ll think that I don’t have any business coming to school but from my primary 5 and 6 I became the best not just from my school but from the whole of Ilorin west, till 2005 when I visited my primary school last, my picture had not been replaced in the headmistress’ office wall. Just like my teacher then believe

MARY AND MARTHA

When Mary and Martha invited Christ to heal their only brother Lazarus, they waited till the sickness got worse and worse and finally Lazarus was dead. They were sure Christ heard their cry for help, but why He didn’t responded before his death they couldn’t say. Friends engaged them in talks that made them question the non response of Christ. Well, they buried Lazarus and had reserved some words for Christ whenever they shall see Him; they shall say to Him ‘if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died...’ John 11:21 You too might had reserved some words for God about that situation you have prayed and prayed to God about and things are getting worse yet Christ isn’t responding to request. You have used several men of God but your testimony still wont surface; I got good news for you. When the case was just sickness Christ didn’t show up till the case increased to that of death, still He didn’t show up till the body was now four days dead and buried, even smelling. Wel

UNTIL THEY LOST THE PENALTY

In the finals of our annual football season, I was the captain of my team, we got 11 news players and nine of them were starters. I was captaining a total of 9 players who haven’t accepted me as their captain. When it was time to take certain decisions on the field, 9 of them would come together and decide, totally disregarding my presence and captaincy. I was frustrated and there was no leadership on the field. I couldn’t tell anyone what to do except the one old player that started the game with us. Finally, we were a goal down and we got a penalty, I was the penalty taker for my team but these 9 players came together and decided I won’t take the penalty. Well, they chose another penalty taker and he played into the keeper’s hand. It was the finals and we can’t afford to lose, at that point, I got mad at 9 of them and they hence decided to allow my lead. Once I started controlling things, within 10 minutes we equalized. During the break, the chief speaker among this 9 came to
