HE PRAYED FOR HIS OFFENDERS

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10 God turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends who had been accusing him of several sins and unrighteousness, who were mean and unsympathetic to his plight, who instead of helping out, where adding more injury to his life. Though his friends played the role of the enemy in his life, yet God wouldn’t turn his captivity and bless him until he had prayed for them. When those who are close to us hurt us, we feel the pain in a great measure but no matter how unworthy we were treated, how unfair these are to us, not until we pray for those who treat us unfairly and unjustly, God wouldn’t turn our captivity and bless us. Lu 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. In this time when even churches are organizing prayers for her members to pray against those who are their human enemies, God

CALLED FRIENDS

My best friend’s property has been mine and mine is; Ugochukwu would take anything in my possession and forget to bring it back, we no longer know the difference between what’s mine and what’s his except for our names. Am privileged to have a friend like that from our time in a very competitive school where everyone is trying to be better than the other, I and he don’t want to be better than ourselves, we just want to be best together and we teach ourselves anything new that one knows than the other. Even closer than Ugo to me, I have the closer friend, Christ Jesus who doesn’t see and relate to me as a servant or His subject but as His friend. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:15 God calls us friends and wants to have a chatting session with us so that He can tell us everything that’s happening in the kingdom

BE FRIENDLY

Let’s be friend she says, and I said ok, she wasn’t quiet, she asked do you care to know beyond my name and said of course and thus communication began and as it continues, the bond of friendship deepens. There won’t be friendship without communications; there won’t be relationship without interactions. God has interacted with us as a show of invitation to friendship by given us His word, and His spirit, but its upto us to accept His spirit into our lives and study His word. You receive His spirit by being born again and you speak to Him by praying and listen to Him by reading His word. Pr 18:24 ¶ A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly... If you care to know God more, why not ask Him into your life now, communicate with Him via prayer and listen to Him while reading God’s word, that’s how to show yourself friendly back to God who has called you His friend (John 15:15) I no longer pray like you know prayer, I interact with God. People have taught praying to

COMMISSIONED TO HEAL INCURABLE DISEASES

Cancer, HIV and AIDs and other deadly diseases may not have existed during the time of Christ, we may not see most of these recent diseases deemed medically incurable recorded in the bible but there was something Christ said in particular that I want us to take note of, He said ‘...cleanse the lepers...’ matt. 10:8. Leprosy was the disease deemed incurable in that time and whoever is infected with leprosy will be stigmatized and secluded from the society till he/she dies; leprosy was a sickness unto death. Therefore when Christ said ‘cleanse the lepers’ He meant heal all diseases deemed incurable. Amen! Christ has early told the disciples to ‘...to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease’. Matt. 10:1 but so that the disciples would understand that leprosy (the supposed incurable disease was included in all manner of diseases that He earlier mentioned) was among, He particularly mentioned leprosy. Glory!. When Christ died on the cross of calvary, He didn’t just pr
