THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH

Someone once challenged me on why I always talk about miracles, my reply was, when you speak the truth, miracle always follow God’s truth, infact any church  that is devoid of miracle isn’t preaching the truth of God’s word. Christ said signs and wonders shall follow the preaching of His word meaning, when signs are wonders aren't following, then something is wrong with the sermon been preached.
And preach as you go, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay. Matt. 10:7-8
When the 12 disciple preached exactly what Christ told them to, miracles followed and after Christ ascended to heaven and the coming of the Holyspirit, signs and wonders continued to follow the preaching of God’s word
Ac 2:43 And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
When the disciples preached the truth, signs and wonders followed their teachings, if any church is preaching the truth; signs and wonders would be done in such churches.
Joh 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.
Every time we preach the truth, the spirit of truth makes miracles happen.
Just like you can’t light a fire without being warmed, you can’t preach the truth of God’s word without miracles being evident; if your church doesn’t believe in miracle, you church doesnt know the truth of God’s word.
Though there are fake miracles out there, that didn’t negate the fact that preaching Gods truth doesn’t produce miracles.
Miracle is God’s approval to the truth He commissioned us to preach and if your denomination doesn’t believe in such miracle, they don’t believe the truth no matter how many scripture they pretend to understand and teach.
Paul said ‘1Co 2:4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power’ when you preach the real truth, it wont just be words of wisdom or misunderstood scriptures but it would be the demonstration of the spirit of power, the spirit of truth is the spirit of power.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. As I was about to pray for her, I told her she is now pregnant by the word of God (Ex 23:26). Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
