the fixed match

THE FIXED MATCH We’ve already qualified from the group with a match to spare, this team we still have one last group match with needed a draw to qualify with us so they met with my team coach and fixed match. The match will be 5-5 score line and for my team I’ll be the one scoring the 5 goals and their team has who will be scoring. My team defenders were told who they should allow to score and their defenders were told to allow me score. The game should as much as possible be made to look real but I’ll consciences know we were cheating. At the end of the game I scored 4 and I tried to celebrate because I was told to celebrate so that the match officials will not suspect the fixing. I forced myself to celebrate but deep in my heart I wasn’t satisfied and till date I don’t count my 4 goals haul on that day as any achievement though that tournament history documented it as a 4 goal haul. Success gotten through scamming and cheating and theft doesn’t bring inner satisfaction and Joy n

what in the name

WHAT’S IN THE NAME P eter by the name made the lame walk and Paul by that same name made the dead to rise and why won’t they do the impossible with that name seeing that the name has been exalted above all other name and at the mention of it, even dry bones lives again. Christ said at the mention of the name, every diseased and infirmity and lame and blind and deaf and dumb and blind will become whole Glory! (see Matt. 10:1, Mark 3:15, Mr 16:17) Are you lame and you want to walk Are you blind and you wanted to see? Is anything dead in your life that you want it resurrect? Are you sick and you want to be healed? Are you afflicted of the devil and you want deliverance? Are you barren and you wanted to bear children? What miracle do you want of God? When we mention the name (Jesus) everything in heaven and on earth listens and obeys and responds and follow suit. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the

what if you are wrong

WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG I was right in the answer, I thought I was; I had consulted every topic on that mathematical problem, I’ve asked everyone I thought knew, I’ve added, multiplied and subtracted when I thought necessary and my confidence that I am not wrong in the answer sky-scraped but when the result was out, I failed, I wanted to accuse the marker of hating me, I wanted to tell him that he is the one wrong till he amidst my protest that I got it right, showed me where I made a simple mistake that cost me the accurate answer. I thought I was right, I was ready to fight for that which I thought is the right answer because it was my answer to the equation till I discovered that I was wrong. Have you thought something is right but later you discover that that which you thought was right is totally wrong? You don’t believe there is God, have you also thought if all your evidence supporting the absence of God is wrong? Someone wrote ‘it’s better to believe and live your life l

TOPIC: GOD FIGHTS FOR US

THE MINISTERS CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL BIBLE LESSONS FOR 2016 Sunday 20 th March 2016 TOPIC: GOD FIGHTS FOR US TEXT: Deut. 20:4 for the LORD your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.' INTRODUCTION: When we gave our live to God, He becomes responsible over everything that concerns us. Our life becomes different from the lives of those in the world and today we shall be seeing the differences           QUESTIONS/DISCUSSIONS 1.     God wants the Jews ever conscious of this truth for it to be a reality in their experience: Deut. 20:2-3 the priest to remind them that though the battle may be before them but it’s actually the Lord’s battle and not theirs. We have to be conscious that every challenges before us are the Lord’s challenge not ours. 2.     It’s the Lord’s case to settle: Ro 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith

are you in similar situation

ARE YOU IN SIMILAR SITUATION? I know that what I’m doing is very wrong, I regret doing it but whenever the urge comes; I tend to lose all the will to say No. I hope God will understand that I desire righteousness in my inward part though I live sinfully. My reply is that God won’t understand why you couldn’t overcome the will and desire of sin in you not after He has given you Christ Jesus. If you are living sinfully; the wages of sin is death. Death means eternal separation from God (damnation in hell), everlasting bondage to the devil and a very present life of hardship, guilt, pain and difficulty or even suicide. Christ is the cure for the sin. At His birth it was prophesied that He’ll save man from the problem of sin. Mat. 1:21 she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."  This is why God won’t understand why you are still stuck in that life of sin, because Christ came that He might deliver all those who des

not your fight

NOT YOUR FIGHT "When you go forth to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people, and shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint; do not fear, or tremble, or be in dread of them; for the LORD your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. Deut. 20:1-3 G od will always tell the priest to remind the children of Israel that whenever they go forth to war against their enemies and see horses, chariots and army larger than theirs that they shouldn’t be afraid of them because it’s God who fights for them. Do you know that it’s God who fights for you? Pays your bill, train your children, and resolves every is

mentor

MENTOR TALK Every great footballer had a coach, every wonderful student had a teacher and every great businessman had a master Elisha had Elijah Moses had Jethro David had Saul Solomon had David And every great man in the scripture had a mentor If you want to be successful in life or ministry, find a life-coach and stick to that person. God sent John to prepare the way of Christ, yes, that’s what a mentor does; they prepare the way for us. If you have a direction in life, you must have a director, if you have a mission to fulfill in life, you must have an instructor. If you have a way, you must follow; you must have someone to prepare such way for you. No matter how connected you are to God, note these: There are things God wouldn’t tell you except via the mouth of your mentor: it means you’ll never learn such things if you have no mentor There are places God will never take you to unless by the agency of a mentor: if you got no mentor you’ll never get there Th

the foolish polar bear

THE FOOLISH POLAR BEAR This is how foolish this bear is and how easy hunting it has become. You’ll place blood in a knife and stick the knife strongly in the Snow. When the bear perceives the smell of the blood robbed on the knife, it will begin to lick the blood in the knife till it finally dies. What happened? You might want to know, the knife will bleed the tongue of the bear while it’s licking the blood on the knife and the bear will continue to lick the blood on the knife thinking it is getting new blood without knowing that it’s sucking its own blood till its death. Is this not what happen to us, when we allow men be sleeping with us because we want their money? You might be enjoying the sex and money till you’ll discover that you are enjoying now to die later; you are sacrificing your future for a momentary pleasure of sin. What we get via sinful life doesn’t build us, it destroys us. The wages of sin is death the bible says. We can’t get any good thing as a result of imm
