DARE YOUR FEARS

Sometimes we fail to do the right thing because of threats of evil. In my secondary school days there were students prefects wouldn’t punish no matter the offense because they were related to certain teachers. One of such students crossed my path and I dished out punishment to him and he wouldn’t do it, so I seized his school-bag and he went and called a teacher for me, the teacher told me to give him back his bag and I said ‘no’ until he serves his punishment. The teacher threatened to make me fail my next exam and it would be my final exam, it was much of a threat but I refused to be intimidated. When the boy saw that the teacher couldn’t help and I have being with his bag for days, humbled himself and did his labour. The teacher went ahead to carry out her threats; she came to my exam-hall, told my form teacher (the one incharge of the exams) not to allow me take the exam, the form-teacher asked me out but when the teacher left, called me back to continue taking the exam, I

THE PART WE ADORN

When the leaves of a plant is very greenish, herbivores (plant eating animals) will be attracted to the plants and they will destroy the plant but when its the flowers that is very beautiful, bees will be attracted to the plants and the plant will be fruitful and multiply instead. The part of us we spend time and resources decorating determines the kind of people we attract into our lives and the kind of people we attract either comes to make us more fruitful in life or destroy and devour our lives. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1Peter 3:3-4 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But with good

GIVE FLESH TO YOUR DREAMS

No man was born without a passion and dreams in life; every man’s purpose was birthed with such a man. From our childhood we have shown interest in certain areas of the needs of man. As a kid, I remember gathering all the sick kid in the neighborhood and administering leafs, salt, penicillin and hot water to their wounds and ailments. Everyone thought I was going to be a doctor though I’m not, but who I am now has so much to do with the sick, I was also good with my legs and strong imaginative power. But when am cleared in my heart that I would be a pastor and having several visions in life as in the kind of pastor I would want to be and the extend of work I would wat to accomplish in the kingdom of God, I spent my entire life and still spending all my resources to give flesh to these visions and dreams. Everything I have to avoid in achieving success I avoid, every-time I have to give to become prosperous, I keep giving and spending every money I have to spend in other that m

IF YOU ROB GOD

The way we treat God or spiritual things is the way life responds to us. We experience all that is curse: frustrations, hardship, disappointments, failures etc. when we treat with un-seriousness our devotions with God. When we rob God of our tithes and offerings, when we take un-seriously our devotional life then lets be ready to live the life of pain and hardship. Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Mal. 3: 8-10 When we rob God of tithes and offerings, we shall harvest curse from the earth. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their

TODAY’S SERVICE BIBLE STUDY

A reader from Bulawayo asked me one day, are you are prophet and I replied, can you recognize a prophet if you see one or whats being a prophet about. Today we discussed about Who is a prophet? Who can prophecy? Mrs. Abiliyo says, a prophet is someone that receives and passes across the word of God concerning someone or people. In the old dispensation, the spirit of prophecy does rest on selected people and it’s only few people that could receive and pass across God’s word to the nation. That’s why we have only few people that could prophecy then. If you want God’s word concerning your life or situation, you have to goto these few selected men to reveal God’s word concerning you and your situation (Nathan, Elijah, Elisha etc.) But in Joel 2:28 the bible says in the last days, our sons and daughters shall prophesy meaning, in the next dispensation, the dispensation we are now, the dispensation that came with the release of the Holyghost on the day of Pentecost, that every
