WHAT’S MAGIC

When we do build sand houses, we just began erecting the house and within seconds we are through. Why is it so easy? It’s that we just build without digging foundation, without placing pillars and without nails etc. and if we want the rain or wind not to destroy this sand building, we have to stay by the building guiding it from all these natural forces. Magic is using spiritual powers to make impossible things happen and to control nature. Miracle is also using spiritual-powers to make impossible things happen and to control nature. Both magic and miracle are workings contrary to nature laws; they are proves that the spiritual supersedes the physical.
What’s the difference? Magic is the devil’s power at work and miracle is God’s power at work. Magic is wroughting the supernatural without observing the principle of the scriptures.
How do you recognize magic? Magics doesn’t last, it takes so much physical sacrifices to maintain a magical occurrence to keep lasting. E.g if you get a magical healing, you’ll have to keep doing so many things the magician tells you to keep doing inorder to maintain the healing. And soon you’ll lose the healing and become sicker than the first and just like the sand house; you spend more energy protecting it from floods and winds than it takes to build it. Magics aren’t self sustaining.
Those that get their problems solved by magic will have a greater problem of sustaining the magic that solved their problems all the days of their lives and the lives of their kids. Getting magical healing can reduce your life span or destroy the destiny of your kids etc.
Miracles are like building that was properly built; its foundation properly dug, its pillars properly placed and its self sustaining. When the flood and wind comes, it still stands while you relax.
Moses casts his staff and it became snake, the magicians did same and it became snake, the only problem was that the snakes resulting from magic always get swallowed up, yes, when you get magical solution, it will soon get swallowed up and you’ll be left in greater trouble than the one you first have.
Have you ever visited a place where God is not and gotten a fake miracle? You just plunged your life into eternal bondage and its only Christ that can save you. Magical solutions aren’t solutions at all; they are greater troubles in disguise.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. As I was about to pray for her, I told her she is now pregnant by the word of God (Ex 23:26). Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
