THE PLEASURE OF SIN DOESN’T EASE THE GUILT Enjoy the wealth and forget how it came his friend advised him; they’ve just successfully defrauded one man of his money and right now, they are in cloud nine. He evangelizes with the saints against alcoholism, yet he owns a bar where alcohols and beers are sold. He campaigns with other believers against smoking and taking hard drugs, yet he retails cigarettes and drugs He preaches with the children of God that stealing and lying leads to hell, yet he would give bribe and market his business through falsehoods. He boldly declares with other children of the faith that indecent dressings are seductive and would bring down weak souls into immorality yet he tailors and sells such nude fashions. He hates wickedness and preaches against despitefully using people in church, yet he would pay his staffs and treats his house maid like a no-body. *WHY WE SIN* We know sinners go to hell where their torment would last from generations to generations endlessly We know that fornicators and masturbators and sexual-immorals won’t inherit the kingdom of God. HOW TO CONQUER BAD HABIT I heard people organizing programs for drug addicts in order to help them overcome their drug addictions, doing programs to help certain people get rid of anger, sex addiction etc. but they’ll keep failing because there is only one way to curb the problem of sin and sinful addictions and that means is Christ. “Mt 1:21 she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." Jesus Christ is the only means God has ordained to deal with the problem of sin; no psychologist can help, no program or seminar or workshop, or body disciplining but only Christ. Do you have any issue of bad habit you’ll need to deal with; smoking, drugs, sex addictions, anger, greed, and lying etc. you need Christ because He is the only cure for sin. *ARE YOUR EYES BETRAYING YOU?* The eye is never satisfied in looking says the preacher... Pornography is like a cankerworm eating up your finances and time; you no longer spend your time praying or studying or mastering useful skills and you'll waste your money buying internet data because you want to indulge your eyes. ARE YOU IN SIMILAR SITUATION? I know that what I’m doing is very wrong, I regret doing it but whenever the urge comes; I tend to lose all the will to say No. I hope God will understand that I desire righteousness in my inward part though I live sinfully. My reply is that God won’t understand why you couldn’t overcome the will and desire of sin in you not after He has given you Christ Jesus. If you are living sinfully; the wages of sin is death. It’s easier to pray when your mind is filled with the thought of evil than any other moment of your life? If you just know that the moment when you start thinking of committing sin in your mind that if you cant just utter words of prayer you’ll be able to pray even more effectively? Sometimes God heals a man instantly and in other time He instructs the man to go wash. When He asks you to wash, it means the problem is caused by the presence of sin (dirts). If you’ve prayed and not received your miracle, or you’ve been prayed for by men of God and nothing has happened yet, it means you should go and wash. As your life gets clean from sinfulness, it will get saved from that problem. Wash off anger, your home will be healed. Wash off immorality, your relationship will work. Wash off pride, your promotion will come. Wash off hate, your blessings would no-longer be hindered. Wash off stinginess, you shall be made fat. This was the confession of one of my readers after I posted on ‘anger’. She said, she fights her fiances till they run away, say insane words to people, and react too negatively that she finds it difficult to apologize or make-up for what she does during her fits of anger. I’ve not married not because there are no suitors but because any of them that see me in this state of anger would flee for his life. Another lady confessed that she fell into drinking and fornication each time she was angered and even after repentance she falls into it again when angered again. Anger on itself is no sin but it makes one pliable to sin. When we are angered we are likely to say or do things that are contrary to our faith-life. Many are going to go to hell not because they sinned with their sane mind but because they continually sinned when they are angered. In the world you shall have tribulation and temptation Christ saith. We are often troubled, attacked and tempted, we are always confronted with challenging situation; things that struggle to make us loose faith in our beliefs in God, things that make us loose faith in our beliefs in what God can use us do to the society and so on. Though devil launches new attack every morning, God gives new grace every morning too to counter the effect. You can excel if you have the divine ability (grace/provision) to face the trouble and temptation on your day to day encounters. In the Lord’s Prayer, Christ taught we always come to God on daily basis to receive His daily strength to fight the trouble and temptations in this world. You are easily tempted to fornicate, easily tempted to drink, easily tempted to steal, easily tempted to lie, and easily tempted to do something wrongly.
