FEAR LIMITED HIS HEALING

Image
FEAR LIMITED HIS HEALING He fell down in the front of his building and cracked his bone a bit, the doctor said, he needs a minor surgery so that he can work straight again but fear wouldn’t allow him permit the surgery. He has heard how many people died during surgery and he thought to himself, that’ll be the end of him if he ever steps into that surgical room. Today he walks awkwardly and I guess, he’ll continue to walk in such manner till his death not because he couldn’t be made whole again but because he is so scared to give the doctors a chance. Fear will only bring limitations to your wholeness in life; it would rob you the fullness of life that God intends that you enjoy. Fear has made many said ‘No’ to sincere suitors because sometimes in their past, someone betrayed their trust; they no longer wants to trust again. Fear has limited some mothers from having one more child though they so desired to have more but they are scared of the pain during child birth or th...

FEAR IS THE SEED OF EVIL

Every man finally becomes victims of his fear sooner or later. When negativities is growing into a reality in the realm of the material, your spirit will become aware of it through fear and if you are not careful, meditating on it and talking it will eventually birth it. A forced negative imagination of the object of the fear would be impressed on your thought. Before anything negative happened to you, you first perceived it and feared. When we fear, our spirit has accepted defeated and the reality of such negativity For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. Job 3:25-26 Fear is not normal, it creates stumbling block in one’s life, faith is not ordinary, it takes away that stumbling block. When you suddenly begin to be fearful, don’t give words to your fear, rather start declaring God’s word over that fear and you’ll conquer it but wh...

not your fight

NOT YOUR FIGHT "When you go forth to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people, and shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint; do not fear, or tremble, or be in dread of them; for the LORD your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. Deut. 20:1-3 G od will always tell the priest to remind the children of Israel that whenever they go forth to war against their enemies and see horses, chariots and army larger than theirs that they shouldn’t be afraid of them because it’s God who fights for them. Do you know that it’s God who fights for you? Pays your bill, train your children, and resolves every is...

DARE YOUR FEARS

Sometimes we fail to do the right thing because of threats of evil. In my secondary school days there were students prefects wouldn’t punish no matter the offense because they were related to certain teachers. One of such students crossed my path and I dished out punishment to him and he wouldn’t do it, so I seized his school-bag and he went and called a teacher for me, the teacher told me to give him back his bag and I said ‘no’ until he serves his punishment. The teacher threatened to make me fail my next exam and it would be my final exam, it was much of a threat but I refused to be intimidated. When the boy saw that the teacher couldn’t help and I have being with his bag for days, humbled himself and did his labour. The teacher went ahead to carry out her threats; she came to my exam-hall, told my form teacher (the one incharge of the exams) not to allow me take the exam, the form-teacher asked me out but when the teacher left, called me back to continue taking the exam, I...

ARE YOU SCARED OF FAILING IN DESTINY?

Someone said to me, we don’t don’t know tomorrow, something bad may happen? And another said, you know, we are not sure if we shall make it to heaven and I retorted, me am sure what my destiny will be; that my life on earth would amount to glory and that I would make it to heaven and he looked at me with perplexity and said, how can you make such an audacious claim? I smiled and said, my destiny has been committed to someone I so trust that would make sure I don’t fail in life and in entering eternity with God. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Jude 24 Are you scared of failing in life: you are scared your marriage would fail or you won’t have one? You are scared your finance would fail or you won’t be able to grow financially? You are scare you won’t be able to have children or that your children won’t be able to get the best of training in life? You are scared you won’...

GREATER THAN ANY UNBELIEVER

Have you ever seen an unbeliever that you envy? Some girls that have decided to serve God and keep their body covered and chaste may feel envious when they see unbelieveing girls dressing hot and looking like Rihanna or Beyonce and coming home with money and gifts gotten from the several men they date. Some believing men can feel no-belonging when they see unbelieving guys doing drugs, wearing costly materials, rolling out with several women and sagging their trousers etc. Few years ago I was envious of unbelievers because they seem to be ontop of life till I discover something? They are not the ones ontop, I am. Glory Lu 7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. John was the greatest on earth but Christ said, the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than him. When you’ve given your life to Christ, you become transferred from the kingd...

NOT AS BIG AS IT SEEMS

Oneday I received bad news and I lost myse lf afterwards, I was so disturbed in my spirit and I became so anxious. But at that moment, God spoke o me and said, the devil feeds on your anxiety, he glories at your confusion and lostness. And immediately I went and prayed after-which though the problem was still there, but it no longer looks as big as it was to me before I prayed; actually, the problem became small and solvable in my spirit and thus ended my anxiety. The simple truth I learnt is that, don’t try to analyze any problem if you’ve not prayed first, don’t try to think of a way out if you’ve not first cast the burden unto the Lord. When David and his men’s wives and kids were taken away and their houses destroyed by the Amalekites, when they saw the destruction, they were in much distress and began to cry including David but when David remembered he hasn’t prayed and did, he lost all distress and he received the idea on what to do to recover all that the enemies was ...

HE WAS RIGHTEOUS BUT AFRAID

He was a very righteous man, both heaven and earth bears witness to this, he was very prayerful and was careful his children were doing the right things at all times. He was always asking God for forgiveness so that he doesn’t live in sin at any time. He was the richest man in the face of the earth and God had set hedges of protections round about him until.... He started becoming afraid that he would suddenly lose all of his family at one time, he was anxious his vast wealth would suddenly disappear, he was scared he was going to lose his health and all friends would desert him and he began to speak out this fears. This man’s name is Job. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. Job 3:25-26 No matter how righteous you are, no matter how rich God has made you, no matter how many times you pray a day and how many people are praying f...
