NOT AS BIG AS IT SEEMS

Oneday I received bad news and I lost myself afterwards, I was so disturbed in my spirit and I became so anxious. But at that moment, God spoke o me and said, the devil feeds on your anxiety, he glories at your confusion and lostness. And immediately I went and prayed after-which though the problem was still there, but it no longer looks as big as it was to me before I prayed; actually, the problem became small and solvable in my spirit and thus ended my anxiety.
The simple truth I learnt is that, don’t try to analyze any problem if you’ve not prayed first, don’t try to think of a way out if you’ve not first cast the burden unto the Lord.
When David and his men’s wives and kids were taken away and their houses destroyed by the Amalekites, when they saw the destruction, they were in much distress and began to cry including David but when David remembered he hasn’t prayed and did, he lost all distress and he received the idea on what to do to recover all that the enemies was taking away (see 1Sam. 30).
Every problem comes with a spiritual weight that that weighs us down and weakens our spirit, but if we can just mutter prayers, that problem won’t be as big as it seems.
When you pray, God takes the burden away from your spirit and shows you a way out but when you don’t, you’ll be weighed down and you’ll never see the way out.
Are you stressed today, is there a bad news troubling you? Why not bow your head and pray casting that burden to God. I tell you, you’ll rise up from your kneels with either ideas on how to solve the problems or you wont even find the problems again.
God bless you.
