DELIVERANCE

Who needs deliverance? It’s the unbeliever that needs deliverance in its primary sense.
How can one be delivered? By receiving Christ as his Lord and personal savior and by learning the truth of what Christ did for him.
Can a born again child of God be possessed of the devil? Yes he can especially if he doesn’t know that he has been delivered.
It’s the truth that sets us free, if we don’t know this truth that brings freedom into our lives, how then we can be delivered? The devil can take advantage of an uninformed Christian or a misinformed Christian to possess him.
How can a once delivered person be repossessed? Immorality; when you commit it, you are immediately possessed, bitterness (unforgiveness and anger); when your heart is sad and bitter, the HolySpirit leaves and evil spirit comes in, fear and doubt are other factors that can make a delivered person lose his deliverance.
What actually pursues the devil from the life of someone, is it the anointing of the one praying or the word?
The answer is simple, it’s the word (Jn 8:32). If someone cast away an evil spirit without the teaching you the word, that evil spirit will come back with fiercer spirit and plague your life and you become worse (that’s why we only do deliverance (laying of hands) after we’ve taught you the word of God that sets you free).
NOTE: if you go to where you are delivered without the word of God, soon you’ll need more deliverance and more and more because each spirit they pursue out of you would revisit you (mat. 12:45).
If you are set free without the word (Christ Jesus), you are not free indeed (John 8:36).
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Col. 1:13
Christ has delivered you the day you gave your life to Christ; you only need to be told this truth for you to start experiencing your deliverance.
God bless you.
