TAKE REST

...cursed is the ground because of you; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Gen. 3:17
In Genesis, the earth was cursed and the curse tag entails that man has to toil and suffer to be able to find what to eat from the earth. The devil has taken advantage of the curse to bring untold hardship and suffering to man; he now works without result, he plants with so little harvest and he suffers frustration in all that he does. But it mustn’t continue this way, God sent Christ to redeem man from this life of hardship and frustration and now Christ invites:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mat. 11:28
Christ offers rest to all those who are labouring under heavy laden when you receive His offer of rest, your life would nolonger be under heavy laden.
Stop labouring, Christ is the ‘Lord of rest’, He alone can offer you rest and His invites you today to come take His offer of rest.
Stop labouring, take Christ’s rest.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. As I was about to pray for her, I told her she is now pregnant by the word of God (Ex 23:26). After few days, she called to say, she went for medical test and the report isn’t so, and I replied, God is far above medical science, she said ‘amen’. Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
