KNOW YOUR SOURCE
Learn
to differentiate between your source and resources, between your spring and
channels of wealth in your life.
Ge
15:1 ¶ After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision,
saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
God
revealed Himself to Abram as His great reward, gain, profit, earning, revenue,
proceeds, income, source etc. Abram’s cattle aren’t his profits, his farms
arent his source of wealth and His skills arent the generator of his incomes but
His God.
As
a child of God, is expedient that you know who your source is and not make your
channels your sources.
Php
4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by
Christ Jesus. Paul recognized God not his tent making ability as his means of
getting supplies.
God
is the source of supplies to everyone who believes in Him. Your job, business,
office, contracts etc. are just means of supplies and not the sources, that’s
why you don’t reverence your means more than your source. Those who make the
suppose means of wealth in their lives the source will not be satisfied because
it’s only when God sources the supplies of our lives that we’ll be truly
satisfied in life. When God is the source of your life, your finances wont be affected
though your business isn’t going well or you aren't been paid at your job. No
job can fill your life the way God can and will if you see Him as your source
and no ‘bad market’ would impoverish you when God is your supplier; your life’s
resources would be in-depend of your job. Glory!
You
know you’ve made your job the source of your life in the place of God when you
give more time to your job than you give to God or when you let your job take
away your attention from fellowship and communion ship with God.
Whatsoever
God didn’t source out in your life, would not be a blessing to you; let God be
your source today.
God
bless you
