CURSE WITHOUT A CAUSE
CURSE WITHOUT A CAUSE
… so the curse causeless
shall not come. Prov 26:2
Curse is the
opposite of blessings and it interferes with every of our affairs in life in
the most negative way. When Christ cursed a tree, it died; when something is
cursed, it ceases to exist or yield fruit.
While some
curses are inherited from our parents, most curses are self inflicted.
No man can
lay a curse on you unless you’ve given such person a cause and no man can bless
you unless you’ve stirred the person to.
These are
certain instance when we are the reason for the curse we are suffering:
1. When we kill (Gen 4:9-11): murdering brought
curse for Cain and will do so for you; aborting a baby, killing someone and
then getting away with it etc brings curses on us.
2. Speaking evil about a man of God (Num
16:32): Korah and company we destroyed
because they spoke against the man of God, yes, when you speak ill about a man
of God for whatsoever reason, you’ll be cursed
3. Hypocrisy (Mark 11:21): Christ cursed
a tree for appearing to be fruitful when its not, yes, when you pretend to be
what you are not in the name of God, you become cursed
4. Immorality: when you rape, sleep with
your relation, practice gay or lesbianism, sleeping with kids, sleep with your
parents or fathers’ wife or mother’s husband etc. you become cursed
5. Betrayal: Judas was cursed because he
betrayed his master, yes, when you betray someone who trusted you for
whatsoever reason, you are cursed
This is by no way exhaustive; curse without a cause shall not
stand. If you are experiencing some patterns of curses in your life, it’s time
to evaluate yourself and surrender to Christ Jesus that He may save you from
the effect of curses.
God bless you
