THE BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT EMPOWERS YOU
God grants us His power and life when we become baptized in His spirit. Peter was filled with fear and lacked courage; he denied Christ three times though he had pledged never to deny Christ but after He was baptized in the spirit, he became bold and courageous and was willing to die instead of hide for the course of the gospel.
Are you living in fear? Do you lack the courage to stand for what is right and just? Do you fall into sin after you’ve pledged not to? Do you want to be empowered? You need the baptism of the spirit of God.
I’ve shared this story before let me share it again, my former boy who waits on me didn’t believe in the baptism of the Holy spirit, in fact he laughs at those who were being moved by God’s spirit and accused them of performing arts and drama. He accused me of pushing people and boasted he can never be moved by it. One day he was in church when I taught about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and invited whoever wants to experience it to return on Thursday. On that day we came, he sat behind and was laughing at those being baptized and praying in tongues afterwards as they received utterances. Then he came to prove to me that nothing like that exists and after I laid hands on him, nothing happened, he was like, you see, these people were just acting. When the service was over and we were about to leave, then the spirit of God caught him and he fell, scattering the entire church and kept falling and he started speaking in tongues. After we waited more than an hour for him to recover, I took him home and he sang the entire night glorying God.
He became a gospel musician afterwards. He was healed of an inherited heart disease from his parents after than encounter with divinity.
If you desire this experience, God is ever ready to gift it to you. Joel 3:28 says the baptism of the Holy Ghost is for all flesh, meaning it’s for you with all its benefits.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. As I was about to pray for her, I told her she is now pregnant by the word of God (Ex 23:26). Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
