The Promise of the Father

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which saith he, ye have heard of me. Acts 1:4

Who is this promise from the Father that is so important that Jesus advised His followers to wait for Him?
He is the Holy Spirit, He is so important to the believer that Christ advised His followers to wait for Him.
every believer must wait desire for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, they must hunger and thirst until they are filled with the Holy Spirit.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Acts 1:5

water baptism is a true teaching, but we must go beyond that and be baptized with the Holy Ghost. many christians are still within the level of the first stage; water baptism. we must desire the promise of the Father. Water baptism if done by men, but the Holy Ghost baptism is done by God The Father.
as you follow these series, not many days from now, you'll be baptized in the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
