PROVING OF GOD

Atheist: can you prove to me if there is God?
Me: yes, the bible says there is God.
Atheist: I mean without the bible
Me: there won’t be need to prove God without using the bible for nothing is as authentic as the bible.
Atheist: I won’t accept the bible proof as true.
Me: how can someone prove we are together in this room?
Atheist: by looking into this room
Me: will there be need checking outside this room to proof we are in this room?
Atheist: no
Me: wouldn’t you accept the proof that some people are together at a particular time in a room by checking into that room at that particular time?
Atheist: (now knowing what I meant) reluctantly said yes.
Me: then there won’t be need proving there is God without looking into the bible.
Am convinced of God because I was taught of God through the word.
Am convinced of God because I saw what He does the lives of people that believe in Him.
Am convinced of God because of what He does in my life.

THE STRUGGLE FOR WHOM TO BELIEVE

After a program back in Nigeria early last year, a woman met me by the car and wants me pray for her conception, since she had a first son, having another has been difficult. As I was about to pray for her, I told her she is now pregnant by the word of God (Ex 23:26). Someone said because of the suffering he was passing through that God has ordained it therefore he is going to accept the financial barrenness as part of God’s plan for him.
