MMM, YAHOO YAHOO:
MMM, YAHOO YAHOO; A CALL TO CHRISTIAN LEADERS
The current trend of fraud that is
spreading through our society is alarming, this is a call to pastors and church
leaders and Christian radio stations to speak out with one voice against these
evil trends.
Yahoo, Yahoo: this
is when someone who impersonates another person on social media and prey on job
seekers or those seeking for relationships by promising them that which they
want and collecting their monies.
Many of our Christians youths are now
into this and we need to speak against such dishonest and fraudulent means of
making money. This is pure evil. When any of your members says he is in Malaysia
or Dubai or abroad, please inquire what he or she is doing over there and warn
such person against Yahoo Yahoo because it’s a sin against God.
MMM: mmm is a thrift where you
are paid 30% of whatsoever you invested. How is the 30% generated? Through the
thrifts of others and others and since no service is rendered, the system is
set to crash whenever there are no new investors to pay the existing investors.
This scheme encourages laziness which is against God’s injunction that we be diligent
and at the end of the circle, many would suffer because there won’t be new
investors to pay them.
Covetousness is cunningly taking that
which belongs to your neighbor without providing any prerequisite goods or
services in exchange; taking that which isn’t yours through various devilish
schemes.
If churches aren’t speaking out
against these evil trends, I wonder what they are preaching. I watched Apostle Johnson
Suleiman warning his members against investing in MMM, the federal government
of Nigeria has done same, I wonder why Christian radio stations, Christian
Association of Nigeria (CAN) and church leaders aren’t speaking out against these
evil trend. In fact, MMM came to my knowledge via a Rev. Minister, that
minister should be sacked if he continues investing in MMM.
I ask every Christian who loves righteousness to make this
post viral by rebroadcasting it.
God bless you
Pastor Promise Ikpe
