what to do when you recieve bad news
*WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU RECIEVE A BAD NEWS*
Some natural response would be anxiety but what did Jesus did....
when Jesus was teaching the 7thousand men besides women and kids at the wilderness far from the cities, He got a news that the people needs to eat and there were only 5loaves of bread and two fishes (a very insufficient resources) instead of Christ to panic and dismiss the crowd to start returning home instead He did something; He took the little resources and thanked God. Yes when we receive news of great responsibilty and little resources, we shouldn't look at our inadequacy but God's ability to supply for us in that lack and thank God. In thanking God we put Him in charge of the situation.
Phil 4:6 says we should be anxious for nothing but through prayers make our request known into God with Thanksgiving.
No matter the trouble that comes to you, ask yourself
Who is responsible for me? then answer God
Who says He'll bear my burden? then answer God
Is God willing to bear the burden? yes, that's why He said come to be all ye who are burdened and I'll give you rest.
can God carry my burden? yes He can.
What should I do then? Thank God for His ability and willingness to bear that burden for and don't be anxious. Amen!
If you do this, you'll come back with testimony just like Jesus got His in the days of His humanity.
Never panic, never never panic and always and always be thankful.
God bless you
