prayer points
*PRAY POINTS FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS OF THE YEAR (DAY 1)*
_…
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phil 4:6_
We are
starting this end of the year program/preparation of the New Year program with
thanksgiving.
What are you
grateful for in 2016? Though lots of things didn’t go your way, but everything
happened for the glory of God because all things work together for good to them
who love the Lord. If you love the Lord then you’ll have reasons to be thankful
for 2016
1. *Be thankful that you are alive; you
didn’t die with those who died of various diseases, road and plane crashes or
various other means through which many died in 2016*
2. Be thankful that your faith didn’t
fail in 2016: many backslide and gave up on their faith due to various
temptations and trials but you are still bouncing in faith, it’s a great
miracle.
3. *Be thankful for all that Jesus did
for you in 2016, those victories He brought your way, and miracles that
happened in your life*
4. Be thankful for all your relatives
and friends and acquaintances that are still alive with you today.
5. *Though the wedding your prayed for never
happened, the house you wanted to build you never were able, the pregnancy
never came and things you wanted to achieve you were never able to etc. be
thankful that you still have the strength to try again in 2017, when God deny
us the good its because He intends the better for us*
6. Be thankful that you can see, hear and walk. Be thankful
that you slept each day and woke up, be thankful that you didn’t become insane,
be thankful that you still have sound mind, and be thankful for all those
little things you thought weren’t important because they are.
7. *Be thankful for the love of God, the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Spirit which you enjoyed in 2016, many
never experiences such bliss and joy*
There are
more to be thankful for, if you count your blessings, praises will full your
mouth. Take a moment, look past all that you didn’t have, concentrate on all
that you have and you’ll see how blessed and privileged that you’ve been all
the while.
God bless
you
