DON’T SIDE WITH NEGATIVITY BY YOUR WORDS And the inhabitant (Of Zion) shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.  Isaiah 33:24 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels. Heb. 12:22 The day you gave your life to Christ, you came to Zion the city of the living God. This means, you are in Zion now. Hebrews 12:22 says you are already come to mount Zion. Hallelujah! Once you are in Zion, there are certain words you shouldn’t say; Isaiah 33:24 says you should not say ‘I am sick’ Don’t side with negativity; death, weakness, sickness, bareness, poverty and hardship etc. with your words. Don’t say, I’m sick, I’m dying, I’m poor, I’m finished, it’s over for me, I can’t make it, I’m barren, it’s too difficult for me, it’s impossible and so on and so forth with your mouth. *SIDE WITH THE WORD* Some years back I was afflicted by sickness by the devil: My head was aching, high fever, general weakness, lost of appetite etc It was Sunday, I had to preach in my church. One of my pastors came to my bedside and asked, how will the service go and I replied,' no changes, I'm preaching' He helped me up, I couldn't bath because I could barely walk so I cleaned up and he helped me get to church. I couldn't, join in the fellowship as I lay down watching them worship God. When it was time to preach I opened to Isaiah 53:5 '*...with his stripes we are healed'* and with my frail voice, I preached how Christ had healed us on His cross and how we shouldn't be sick. The devil was telling me that I was wrong and using my then health challenge as his fact. But I wouldn't allow him make me side with my sick feelings over God's word. INFERIORITY COMPLEX The prodigal son said he is no longer qualified to be called a son again because of his past error but his father still called him a son and restored him back with sonship. He came back to be a slave, but God still made him a son. When God forgives you, He doesn’t judge or decide your future with your past mistakes therefore don’t tell yourself you can’t still have the dream man you desire to marry because you’ve mistakenly became a single mom, that you can’t still have the career you have always wanted because you’ve done some error that had affected your right to still pursue such career, or you can’t have that life you’ve always wanted because sometimes in your past, you squandered God’s provisions for you etc. Forgiveness means, you’ve never sinned before therefore you can still have those things you are supposed to have when you’ve never sinned. If you are a son before you sinned, you’ll still become a son after you’ve repented and forgiven, nothing less ...

WITHDRAWING A VOW God is so interested in our various vows with Him and our fellow men; when you give a promise, how far do you inconvenience yourself to make such promise good? God is faithful and true and He inhabits with men who are faithful and true. Sometimes you may make a pledge because you have the hope of getting perhaps money to make good such pledge, then the money didn’t come or there were other issues that came up, what did you do afterwards? Forget about your pledge or vow or inconvenience yourself to make good on your word? In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.  Ps 15:4 When you honour God, you’ll make a promise and fulfill it even to your own hurt and discomfort and you won’t go back on your promises. CURSE WITHOUT A CAUSE2 … so the curse causeless shall not come.  Prov 26:2 Certain actions give the devil foothold to curse us. The bible described him as the accuser of brethren (Rev. 12:10); he enforces certain consequences of our actions even when God wants to overlook it, the devil won’t have it overlooked. The best way to beat the devil is to allow God’s grace make you avoid such acts that brings about curses in your life. Here are some lists 1.     Stinginess: when you don’t give so that there might be resources in the house of God, when you don’t give to your neighbors who might be in need of your help once in a while, you won’t escape the curse of poverty and lack (Prov. 28:27, Mal. 3:9) 2.     Cursing your parents: when you abuse or even beat your parents or whoever represents your parents in age or responsibility because you can, then you’ll be cursed with premature death and abuse from your kids or those their age (Pro. 20:20,...

INHERITED CURSES Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  Ex. 34:7 Abraham lied about his wife, Isaac also lied about his wife; sometimes our sinfulness is inherited. Most people are prostitute because their parents are, they are divorcée because their parents were divorcees, drunkard or easily tempered just like their parents and the same pattern in their parents’ lives comes down t them. When you develop a sinful habit, if you don’t deal with it, it’s very likely that it will pass on to your children and to their children and so on and so forth. CURSE WITHOUT A CAUSE … so the curse causeless shall not come.  Prov 26:2 Curse is the opposite of blessings and it interferes with every of our affairs in life in the most negative way. When Christ cursed a tree, it died; when something is cursed, it ceases to exist or yield fruit. While some curses are inherited from our parents, most curses are self inflicted. No man can lay a curse on you unless you’ve given such person a cause and no man can bless you unless you’ve stirred the person to.
