glorious exploit
SUNDAY 3RD JAN. 2016
TOPIC: THE YEAR OF GLORIOUS EXPLOITs
TEXT: ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows…Isaiah 53:4
INTRODUCTION
God has led us from the year 2015 to another year which would be unto us a year of glorious exploit because we know our God and we are strong being strengthened by Him in all means. Da 11:32 …but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits
QUESTIONS/DISCUSSIONS
1. We decide what would happen this year ‘Ps 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it’
David declared what would happen to him in the day which God has made, we too likewise must proclaim what would happen in this year which God has made and we declare that we’ll only be joyful and glad in it and the period and times of shame and reproach are over in Jesus name.
2. Christ Borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. If Christ has carried our sorrows it means we shall have no cause to be in sorrow in this New Year though we were in sorrow last year, and if Christ has borne our griefs, we won’t have any cause to grieve in this New Year. Glory!
3. We shall forget the former things. Isaiah 43:18-19 ‘Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.’
God has begun a new thing in this ministry and the former shame and reproach are passed away. God has made ways for us in our wilderness and has filled us with rivers of His blessings in our lacks.
CONCLUSION
Let’s focus on God’s word in this New Year, He has promised us that this year would be to us the year of glorious exploit. Our target this year would be that we’ll be able to seat at least 1000 people in any of our meetings; both church services and crusades and we are to keep praying and prophetically declaring this into reality
