My work in the home as a kid was to sweep the compound and weed the backyard whenever there are weeds. I don’t need anyone to remind me. My immediate younger sister does all the cooking in the house, she wakes every morning and cook without been reminded, my elder sister does the shopping and sometimes cook with it’s a special circumstance. When our parents want to give us money for anything, they don’t give to us base on the efficiency of our work in the home. We don’t work for dad and mum to be able to earn food and money, we work because it’s our responsibility in the home and they give us not because of our work in the home but because its their responsibility to us e.i they are our source.
