VOW OF SEPARATION

Say to the people of Israel, When either a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD, he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar made from wine or strong drink, and shall not drink any juice of grapes or eat grapes, fresh or dried.
All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, not even the seeds or the skins. Numbers 6:2-4

Strong drinks included grape vines, vinegar etc. were examples of alcoholic drinks or strong drinks then but now, we have Ogogoro, palm-wine, beers etc. alcoholic drinks no matter how little the percentage of the alcohols is forbidden for those that wants to specially dedicate themselves to Jesus Christ.
Any man that decides to separate himself for God must also separate himself from alcohols no matter how little the percentage of it might be.
In Israel, this decision is called a special one because it is not forced on people but if anyone loves God enough to commit himself to Him, such person must separate himself from strong drinks.
Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and valiant men in mixing strong drink. Isaiah 5:22. The bible had cursed those that drinks alcohols, and to avoid this curse, separate yourself from drinking and the company of those that drinks it.
In this time when people drinks alcohol like water and boast of how many bottles they can drink at a go, where whoever that doesn’t take strong drinks is regarded as a weakling, God is looking out for those that will separate there selves for Him.
Alcohol fills the mind; the very spot where the word of God and the Holy Spirit stays therefore whoever has filled his mind with alcohols can’t be filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s why it is called the special vow. When you’ve decided to give God your spirit soul and body then you shouldn’t taste anything alcoholic.
God is looking for true worshipers, yes, men and women that had separated themselves from defiling things for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was a Nazarene and we’ve been called to be like Him; a Nazarene (someone that had vowed to separate himself from alcoholics or strong drinks)
If you want to separate yourselves like Jesus, then say no to alcohols.
God bless you.
