THE PROBLEM WITH AFRICA 30

A father tasked his little son to solve a mathematical problem, when I saw the problem I noted that it was impossible because the equation wasn’t correct, so I quietly tapped the father and pointed to him that the equation he had given to his son to solve is incorrect and can’t be solved.
He said, he knows, he just wants his son to learn to think and never accept any equation or problem in life doesn’t have solution should he think deep enough. So what’s the solution to this equation I asked, and he replied without blinking, ‘the equation is wrong’. But he has to think deep enough to find out that the equation is wrong.
The aim isn’t for him to solve the equation but to learn how to think so deep and never give up on any equation he’ll face in life.
I smiled and said, this is the kind of training we need in Africa.
We need to train the African child how to think.
Let’s tell the African child to think of ways common problems can be solved saving more time and resources.
Let’s task the African child to never give up thinking of ways society problems can be solved.
Let’s tell the African child that nothing is impossible should he spend more time thinking of ways to solve the common problems of our society.
Let’s tell the Africa child, if he can spend more time thinking and asking questions instead of worrying, he’ll come to the solution of whatsoever problem he is facing.
When we begin to train the African child to think and never give up on thinking until he has come to the solution, Africa would rise from obscurity to greatness.
Let’s train the African child to believe that nothing is impossible and there is no problem that can overwhelm him should he think deep enough he’ll always see the solution and the way out. The solution to the problem of Africa is Africans.
God bless you
