THE PROBLEM WITH AFRICA 31

A man was digging for diamonds, the site where he was digging, many digs and find diamonds so it was very likely that he would also find diamonds. He started getting weary when it seems as if he had dug a little bit deeper than those around him, and yet he hadn't broken into diamonds, immediately the fear that he had either chosen the wrong spot to dig or he just wasn't lucky as the rest of those who had found diamond began to overwhelm him, so he gave up, took his digger and left. Another person came to his spot to dig, after hitting the ground a few more times, he broke into lots of diamonds.
This is one of the issue with the African, he easily gets wearied of thinking deep enough. He'll often give up after he had thought shallow without any result, blaming unluckiness or his environment for his failure to get results.
Our minds get sharper when its developed, and nothing develops the mind more than exercising it. We must have 'thinking sessions', where we ask ourselves important questions about creating values.
The best leader is the one who had had more thinking sessions on leadership than anyone else.
The best economist is the one who had had more thinking sessions on the economy than anyone else.
The best in every profession are those who have had more thinking sessions than the rest.
If the African child  can think deep enough, he'll come up with creative ideas that'll solve the socio-economic problems in Africa.
The solution to every problem in Africa is within the African, he just needs to dig deep enough to find it.
Those who think deep are always asking questions, researching ideas and have clearer imaginations  and these are tools to building a better society.
Its not natural resources that we need in Africa, its not foreign aid, what we need in Africa are great ideas birthed during our meditations.
The best foreign aid we can have as Africans are those aids that encourages us to think for ourselves.
If every African will take some time in every 24 hrs to think how he/she can create value, the value of Africa would begin to appreciate greatly. A sound and sharp mind is what we need to build Africa to greatness.
Those Africans who don't see great opportunity in Africa haven't meditated deep enough. Britain, USA, China, Japan, and Europe are all seeking to invest in Africa in another scramble for Africa, if there is nothing in Africa, the rest of the nations would not be scrambling to keep exploiting us. The experts in these nations have thought and seen the potentials in Africa and how to put to use these potentials, yet Africans haven't seen these opportunities in their minds' eye because they've refused to use it. We need to think deep enough to see what's deep within Africa.
God bless Africa
