A CHILD DEVELOPS BY SEEING
A little child has the potentials of an adult, but the child will not be able to develop these potentials if he does not see a full grown man living in manifestation of the potentials. A child walks because he sees adults around him walking, a child talks because he sees adults around him talking, a child understands things the way the adults around him understands them, and so it continues.
Jesus was able to perform supernatural abilities because of what He saw in the Father. Jesus was not learning about His abilities from earthly men like Joseph his biological father. He looked up to His Heavenly Father to see what He could do, and all that He saw His Heavenly Father do, He began to do, because He proceeded from The Heavenly Father. In the same way, we develop with what we see; therefore, the devil tries to make us look at the wrong things so we do not develop our superman abilities in Christ Jesus. If Jesus had looked at Joseph, He would not have manifested the abilities of his heavenly Father. Do not allow the devil make you look at the wrong image.
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19
Jesus was a carpenter who could not avert the death of his father, Joseph from an early death. Theologians say Joseph died before Jesus began His public ministry. If Jesus had not looked to the Heavenly Father, His ministry would not have started, and the whole world would still be living in darkness with no hope of light.
If Jesus had not received revelations as He saw His Heavenly Father performing miracles, He would not have been able to perform any miracles. Therefore, revelation is crucial to the manifestations of the sons of God. If you would like to manifest as a superman in Christ, you must expose yourself to divine revelations. View the miracles of God as things you can do, then you will begin to manifest these abilities.
“And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:23-29
When the disciples saw and confirmed that it was Jesus walking on water, they would have walked without asking questions. All that they saw Christ do were things they could do. Peter asked if he could walk on water, Christ said yes! We do not need to ask if we can do the miraculous or supernatural, all that we see Christ do we can also do, no questions. If it is in Christ, it is in us. Glory!
“Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.” Eph 4:18
When our understanding is darkened, i.e. when we allow the devil to distract us from looking unto God; the one who causes our superman abilities to manifest, we are alienated from the super life and so we live like dogs instead of lions.
Christ himself manifested to live a supernatural life among the natural men. We are fellow-heirs with Christ and the same principle that worked for Him while He worked on earth works for us too. Peter proved it when he walked on water after seeing Christ walk on water.
“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:” Eph 3:6
All the promises in the Gospel; the promise to live in charge of nature and command the supernatural, can be ours without limitations. Just as Christ manifested the powers of God and lived a superhuman life, we also can live such a life because what Christ is to God, we are to God and what God is to Christ, He is to us. Amen!
“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” John 20:17
The death of Christ reconciled us to God. The way Christ is connected to God; we also are connected in the very same way. Jesus described God as His Father in the same way that He is our Father.
“And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” Eph 2:16
What God is to Jesus, He is the exact same to us, nothing less. There is no gap between the believer and God, and the believer is as connected to God as Christ is. Christ said to Mary, “go tell my brethren”. Take note, Jesus calls those who believe in Him brothers, meaning that they are men with whom he shares the Heavenly Father. In the same way your brother calls your Father his father, we can also call God our Father, just as Christ calls Him Father. Jesus said, “I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God”. God is Father to us, with the same richness and deepness of communion that He has with Christ. Therefore, the privileges of Christ are ours, in fact, we understand what our privileges are by observing the privileges of Christ. Just as God showed Jesus all that He does so that Jesus could do likewise, He has also shown us all that He does so that we can do the same.
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Romans 8:17
We are joint-heirs; this means that we share the same fellowship and communion with the Father, the same grace and glory and power with our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
All that we can see in Christ, we can find in ourselves. All that Christ does, we can do, and this is why we must keep looking unto Him. We can do all that we see Christ do because He is the first born of all Born-again kinds and He was the first to manifest the very superman abilities all believers should manifest. Therefore, we must look at Him to conform to His Image and function in His grace and supernatural abilities.
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Rom. 8:29
Whatever you say that Christ can do, they are examples of things you can do, because Christ reveals you. The Born-Again believer is a superman; he can do all that Jesus does, because he proceeds from Christ.
