THE PROBLEM WITH AFRICA 7

Nigeria NollyWood once acted a movie 'Died Wretched' where man had trained many  and have them set up financially. They all got married and started building their respective empires, soon this man went bankrupt to the extent he couldn't afford a meal for his young family. He tried contacting those boys he had helped when he was rich, and they kept deferring whatsoever help they've pledged respectively. Actually, this one was expecting the other to take care of the man and the one expected was expecting another person thus no one did.
This man couldn't train his own children and because of the many financially hardship and hunger he was experiencing, he became sick; he couldn't afford the money needed for his treatment, he died .
That was when all those he had trained and set-up in life came to their senses, they regretted never caring for him alive and decided to give him a state burial.
The man who died because he couldn't afford 30,000 was buried on a casket worth 100000s.
This story explains Africans: an African honors the dead than the living. We spend more monies and give wonderful orations during funerals than we do when the dead was alive. While a man is alive, no one would remember him to 'say nice things and do great things for him' but once he is death, that's when you'll see all those he had helped in life turning out to say nice things about him and showing willingness to sponsor his funerals and reciting the good things he had done.
Many people die every day inAfricaa because no one has told them they are beautiful, no one has appreciated them, no one think they've ever done anything nice in life, that they are useful and relevant, that they deserve some accolades and that they are loved but once they died, that's when the nice things which the absence of them have led them to their early grave would be showered on their corpses.
If Africa would become great, we must learn to share compliments, show appreciations, say nice things about people, show and tell them we love them, be there for them, tell them how relevant they've being to us and never neglect them etc.
we should appreciate Goodman, good and heroic deeds, we should appreciate good looks and talent and gifts, we should shout it out loud when someone did something of note, we should have a system of awarding special recognition to people who did something a little extra in our locale.
When we begin to help the living, we would have fewer funerals to attend to in Africa, fewer deaths and fewer regrets.
We will motivate ourselves to do better, and we'll become our own heroes.
We will trigger hunger in Africans to seek ways to invent what Africans need and to seek more inventive ways to make Afruca better. Africans would be less dependent on the whites for products and services.
We will become more patriotic to the African nation and more committed to our lands.
Staying in Africa would enjoyable.
We will make it easier for Africans to help Africa to become a better society.
Africans who lived in the Europe and other part of the continent where they were well appreciated have conquered the world in various fields, imagine if those at home would give similar appreciation from their fellow Africans, the world would be under their feet.
God bless you
