CREATION CONTINUES
Has creation ended? Before you are tempted to
say yes, take note, ‘But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I
work’. Joh 5:17
The devil came to kill, steal and destroy and
perhaps before you found Christ, the devil might have destroyed something so
important in your life and you are living a damaged life right now.
The devil might have destroyed your womb
through your former promiscuous life, or destroyed every prospect of getting
married and having kids because you are now infected with HIV, he might have
destroyed your marriage and your spouse has moved-on with his/her life leaving
you in the lorn, you might have allowed the devil destroy your youthfulness
that you look like you can never move on to become relevant to the world, the
devil might have destroyed all or some part of your body that you’ve decided to
live the rest of your life as an incapacitated fellow etc.
If you are damaged, I got a good-news for
you, creation hasn’t ended; God is still at work repairing damaged creation. In
John 9, Christ met a man that was born blind, not just that his eyes weren’t
working but without an eye-socket and he has decided to continue his as an
uncompleted fellow. So terrible was his blindness that the deciples asked
Christ, is it his sins or his parent’s sin that caused such a terrible
permanent blindness? And Christ said No but that men might know that creation
continues because God is out restoring all that the devil has damaged in the
life of His children.
No matter how damaged your life looks like
right now, no matter how permanent such damage looks like, I got a good-news
for you, God can still work on you and recreate whatsoever that has been
destroyed in your life. You can still have kids, healed of HIV, reunited in
your marriage, become relevant to the society, get married, and get restored.
Christ took soil and mixed it with clay and formed an eye-socket and that
clay-eye-socket started seeing, Glory, just like in Genesis where soil was used
to create man, God still use soil to recreate any damaged part in man.
God bless you.
